The 5% Club
The 5% Club is a movement of employers who are committed to have 5% of their workforce in earn and learn positions. We are a member and have received the Gold Award which acknowledges the work we have undertaken to close the skills gap.

We are a Living Wage employer
We are accredited as a Living Wage Employer by the Living Wage foundation. The Real Living Wage exceeds both the government’s minimum wage and the National Living Wage, being the only wage rate in the UK calculated based on the actual cost of living.
We ensure that all direct employees are paid at least the Real Living Wage, with annual reviews to ensure compliance. Our Supplier Code requires that subcontractors working on our sites are also paid the Real Living Wage, and we actively communicate this across our sites. We also provide information on how to report any concerns of non-compliance through our Speaking Up channels.

Charity partnerships
We partner with the Lighthouse Construction Charity, an organisation dedicated to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of our people. The Lighthouse Construction Charity provides vital support services, including mental health resources, financial assistance and training for those in need.
Key areas of focus for the charity include:
Mental health support, including a confidential helpline available to workers in the construction industry, offering support for stress, anxiety, depression and other mental health issues
Crisis support: the charity provides emergency financial assistance to construction workers and their families who are facing critical situations, such as illness, injury or unexpected hardships
Training and awareness, including programmes aimed at raising awareness of mental health issues within our sector and providing mental health first aid training to workers
Through its efforts, the Lighthouse Construction Charity strives to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health in the construction industry, encourage open conversations and ensure that workers have access to the support they need.
